The Purple Heart Walk August 7, 2007 - Second annual Purple Heart walk. Despite the 95 degree heat, a fine program took place to honor Purple Heart recipients and their families. We assembled at the Veterans Memorial Area and marched to the Veterans Memorial Wall. There were about a dozen of us in the color guard. Lindsey carried the SAR flag & Dick carried a short musket. More memorials have been added to the walk.

Boxes for our Warriors - Beach United Methodist Church of Jacksonville Beach collected items for our warriors stationed overseas. November 4, 2006, we met at CWA Union Hall to pack and prepare the items for shipping. A HUGE THANK YOU to all!
